The work, duties and rights of the Social Welfare Officer shall be as follows:-
(a) Designing district level plans and programs related to protection of disabled people's interests and disabled people's welfare and submitting them to the Ministry for approval.
(B) To implement the directives of the Ministry.
(c) To evaluate the status of the implementation of the approved program and send progress reports to the Ministry.

(d) To search for necessary resources for the protection and well-being of the orphans of the district and to maximize the utilization of the available resources.
(e) To perform other tasks as prescribed by the Ministry.
